We started December by meeting Gabe's cousin Taylor at a Ramen shop, it was delish and wonderful company as always. She also brought a gift for Grapey which he will love :)
Sweet Ashley flew in from Pittsburgh to meet her family from FL for the weekend, they were kind enough to let me tag along on the adventures in the city. We started the day at Radio City Music Hall to see the Rockette's. So wonderful! I want to go again! Who's coming to visit around Christmas next year?
Inside Radio City - beautifully decorated, it was a huge space!
The day was on the chilly side of things and we were having our first official snow, but it made everything so beautiful! Here's the famous tree at Rockefeller Plaza
And people ice skating at the plaza
Ash's cute FL fam getting used to walking on the slick sidewalks
Ash's mom Tammy aka "Mama Tammy" enjoying a delicious dessert!
Because who doesn't need ice cream when it's 20 degrees out?
Macy's - there must have been a million people in the store (which is huge, I didn't realize there's 8 floors, or something like that, and it's all decorated too!)
Towards the end of the day we found ourselves in Central Park, so pretty!
Ash, cute as can be!
Ash's Aunt Kathy after she made her first snow angel :)
Looks great!
Tammy making her first snow angel
These FL girls were brave to spend so much time in the snow and cold!

Presents under our little tree, I wonder what could be in that fun little white box? My hubby knows me well :)
Cute Cabela's bib for Grapey, thanks Uncle Kyle and Auntie Ashley!
Uncle James and Auntie Audrey gave Grapey this cute NE onsie. His first official Husker gear!
Gabe making us a Christmas Day snack of cheese and summer sausage
Cinnamon Rolls - Christmas morning tradition. I forgot to take a picture of our meal but we had ham, twice baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, rolls, cranberry salad and a chocolate, raspberry cheesecake for dessert. All delish!
Taylor was able to join us on Christmas evening for Christmas Dinner and to open presents!
Her sweet sissy Meredith sent her a package to our house to surprise her, it worked!
All of our packages from the Midwest arrived on the 26th, so the celebration continued that night
Beef sticks and jerky for Gabe from his Grandpa and Grandma Roeming in WI
Candy for me :)
Granddad and Nana Johnson are starting a tradition for Grapey: something to read, something to wear, something to play with. What a great idea!
So here it is!
Gabe's stocking
My stocking
Grape's stocking, Gabe is jealous these won't fit him
More stocking fun
A hunting/fishing joke book, he told me a funny one out of it this morning but now I can't remember
Because every girl needs a new spatula!
"How long would I take me to grow my beard out?"
Pretty wrapping!
New jeans, they fit perfectly!
Thanks for all the sweet presents, cards, and calls. We feel so loved even though we're not with family and friends this year. You should come visit around Christmas time and we can see all the sights and maybe a fresh layer of snow will be covering the ground :)
